The GripID FAP20 XP pairs wirelessly with any smartphone, tablet, or computer thanks to the patented pairing system, and brings one-finger capture to the counter or the field. It carries its own 2-inch touchscreen, an 8MP autofocus camera and a smart-card reader, and runs 7 hours on a charge, with no fixed infrastructure and no complex integration.

Fingerprint Sensor
The integrated Xperix BM-Slim2 optical module is certified to ISO/IEC 30107-3 PAD Level 1 and 2. Its MDR (Multi-Dynamic Range) imaging captures clean fingerprints under direct sunlight, up to 100,000 LUX, and stays reliable on dry, wet, or aged fingers.

Use Case
KYC Enrollment
A telecom agent conducting SIM card registration at an outdoor site pairs the GripID FAP20 XP with a tablet. The subject places an index finger on the sensor. Under direct sunlight, the sensor delivers a clean 500 ppi image in a single placement. AI-based liveness detection verifies the finger before the template is matched against the national biometric registry. The transaction completes in seconds, the SIM is issued, and the enrollment is logged to the operator’s audit trail.
