GripID Bridge is the companion app for your GripID devices. It pairs with a device in seconds, lets the operator run captures from a smartphone or a computer, and brings the results straight to the screen.

What GripID Bridge does
Pair in one scan. Scan the QR code shown on the screen of your GripID device and GripID Bridge is connected, with no cables to plug in.
Capture from your phone. Start a capture from the app, follow it on screen, and receive the images as soon as the capture is complete.
GripID Bridge runs on the phone, tablet or laptop the operator already carries. There is no dedicated workstation to install. On sites with little or no connectivity, GripID Bridge also carries secure SDMS updates to the devices.

Pairing & Control
GripID Bridge pairs with a GripID device in seconds: scan the QR code displayed on its screen, over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The operator then starts and follows the capture directly from the app.
Secure link
The link is encrypted over Bluetooth and over Wi-Fi. Captured images travel between the device and your phone or computer over a protected local link.
Capture results
Images are returned to GripID Bridge as soon as the capture is complete, ready to use. Records saved offline on the device can be offloaded as soon as it pairs with GripID Bridge.
On sites with little or no connectivity, GripID Bridge downloads the signed update from the SDMS and sends it to the device over local Wi-Fi. The device checks the signature before installing, so only genuine GripID updates are accepted.
Platforms
GripID Bridge is available on iOS and Android for phones and tablets, and on Windows for laptops and desktops, so every operator can use the device they already have.
