Integrated Biometrics : Partnership

Integrated Biometrics and GripID form a strategic partnership to launch smallest multimodal biometric device

Spartanburg, SC, and Paris, France, October 2024 — Integrated Biometrics (IB), the world leader in advanced biometric fingerprint scanners, and GripID, a cutting-edge developer of mobile biometric devices, today announced a strategic partnership to launch the smallest multimodal biometric device on the market, the GripID FAP30. This innovative new product marks a significant leap in portable identification technology for law enforcement and border security.

With a size half that of a smartphone and a premium titanium design, the GripID FAP30 integrates IB’s advanced FAP30 fingerprint sensor, Danno, and is also ready for facial recognition capabilities. The device pairs seamlessly with smartphones, tablets, or computers over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, enabling on-the-go identification that can transform national security operations worldwide.

“We are excited to partner with GripID in creating a product that meets the needs of modern identification challenges,” said David Gerulski, EVP of Integrated Biometrics. “The GripID FAP30 is a true game-changer, delivering unparalleled biometric capability in a remarkably compact form.”

Eric Fouchard, President of GripID, echoed the sentiment, adding, “With IB’s innovative biometric technology and our expertise in mobility, we are reshaping the future of identification for law enforcement and national borders. The GripID FAP30 is just the beginning.”

The partnership will continue to roll out new devices, including the upcoming GripID FAP50, with Sherlock, and IB’s mobile palm scanner, Mannix, to follow.
